First of all, thank you for all participants in this month's tournament.
It was a very early tee-times for everyone and since the location was at least 1 hour away (almost 2 hours for some) everyone had to wake up at 5:00 am in order to reach the course in due time.
Enough to say, it's golf we are talking about, and of course everyone made it perfectly ;)
Ambassador JJ took the medal/cup for the 2nd time in a row after an astonishing performance, a gross of 85 strokes and 33 points in total. He's the only player who managed to score above 30 points today. 7 pars, 9 bogeys and 2 double bogeys recapped his excellent day.
Mr Nasa took 2nd with 29 points, 99 gross strokes with 1 birdie, 3 pars and 7 bogeys. The battle for 3rd place was fierce with Mr Faizal and Mr Ton Azmi sharing the same 27 points and the same points on the count back (OCB) for the last 6 holes. Mr Ton Azmi had a better score on holes 10-12 and thus take home 3rd. Mr Faizal, however, is the 3rd place winner in the official MGDC list since Mr Ton Azmi was a visiting member.
With 26 points, 3 pars and 8 bogeys, Mr Taufiq took home the 5th place with a gross score of 98 strokes. Ms Ana is next with 25 points, 2 pars, 2 bogeys and 5 double bogeys (30 h/c). Mr Suhardi had 2 pars, 3 bogeys and 8 double bogeys to score 24 points while Mr Tamizi had 1 birdie, 2 pars and 6 bogeys to score 23 points.
Mr Neezam also scored the same 23 points but lost to Mr Tamizi in OCB. Brid Gen Othman scored 22 points with 1 birdie and 2 pars while Mr Salleh 19 points with 2 pars.
A newcomer, Mr Rahim had a fun day, despite having a low score but managed to par 1 hole to make his day. Unfortunately for Mr Shahril, he had to head home after the front 9 to rush to the airport in the afternoon.
Next tournament will be in June, most probably on June 11th but the course and time has not been confirmed yet. Most probably somewhere nearer to everyone :)
